Thank you Leah for sharing your story with us!
1.How many children do you have, name and age.
I have one child(so far) a son , Noah and he is 8 months old.
2. What is your current occupation?
I am a stay at home mammy as I have a condition called Fibromyalgia and suffer from bad depression, I am not allowed to work. But I am very proud to say that I am a fully qualified childcare supervisor and I also have a diploma in social media marketing for business!
(you should be very proud , that is a lot of wonderful accomplishments)
3. What are the challenges of balancing work and parenting?
I know I don’t work but if I did I would find it difficult to get all the housework and spend time with the hubby and Noah if I was working.
4. What is your life philosophy?
I basically want to have our own house and have at least two more children and honestly be genuinely happy and healthy.
5. What is a piece of advice you would give other mothers and what is one thing you wish you had known before having children?
Always do what you feel is best in any situation and always choose your children over everything! I wish I knew how hard it was going to be to stop people’s comments about how you deal with your child/children upsetting you.
6. What is your greatest achievement apart from your child so far?
Surviving a suicide attempt when I was 16 and also surviving an abusive relationship before I met my hubby.
(unbelievable strength you have Leah, so inspirational!)
7. What have you done that you thought you could never do?
Honestly, I thought I would never have children as I was told when I was 17 that I may never have children!
8. What books do you like reading to your child?
We love the Peter Rabbit series and all of the Thomas the Tank Engine books.
My kids loved Thomas the Tank and I remember Peter Rabbit from when I was young! I hope Noah will enjoy reading my book Three Times the Fun and add that to his reading collection.
