Who doesn’t like oatmeal cookies??? This simple to make recipe contains 4 ingredients!!! That’s it and easy enough to make with the kids. If there is a peanut allergy you can swap out the peanut butter for any nut butter.
It has four ingredients. You can add chocolate chips, or even raisins. They are really yummy and my husband smelt them upstairs and came running down to see what I was baking and declared them delicious!
The sweetener in these cookies comes from brown rice syrup. Brown rice syrup or rice malt syrup as it is known is still a sugar, even if it is made from brown or organic rice. However, it contains no fructose or sucrose, so in this regard it would be better to use than refined sugars, but once again, moderation is key when it comes to sugars.
The recipe is adapted from skaftebites account on IG.
