Our first feature of the new year is Cindi Perez . Cindi is truly an inspiration! She faced an emergency C section to have her triplets as she developed pre eclampsia during her pregnancy. She had to administer CPR on one of her 3 month old triplets and saved his life! Remarkable and so brave!! Cindi also found the strength to face her own truth and now lives her “truest” life. Read on to learn about Cindi , her wife Jasmine and their gorgeous triplets!
You can follow them on IG @cindiiiii
Thanks Cindi for sharing your story with us!
1)How many children do you have and what are their names and ages?
I have 6 month old triplets, 2 boys and a girl. The boys are Sage and River and my daughter’s name is Melrose.
2)What is your current occupation?
I am currently not working, however, I was a full time sales manager and office consultant for 10 years prior to getting pregnant with my triplets.
3)What is one piece of advice you would give other mothers and what is one thing you wish you had known before having children?
I would tell other mothers to hold their little ones, affection will not spoil them! Hug and kiss them as much as they can because they grow up too fast!
I wish I could have known how dangerous and debilitating pregnancy could be! ( I had to have an emergency C section due to pre eclampsia and had severe hemorrhaging.)
4) What is your greatest accomplishment apart from your children?
My greatest achievement has been facing my own truth and coming out to my family regardless of their old school mentality. Marrying my wife and living my truest self has been so rewarding.
(That is certainly a huge achievement which you should be so proud of Cindi!)
5) What have you done that your thought you could never do?
My son had aspirated formula while bottle feeding when he was three months old. He stopped breathing and I had to perform CPR until the ambulance arrived. Doctors and nurses said I saved his life, I’m just fortunate that I knew what to do.
(I cannot even imagine how scary that must have been for you!)
6) What books do you like to read to your children?
I love reading Dr. Seuss books to my children because they were my favourite stories when I was a kid. We are currently reading “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.”
That was a favourite of my kids too! I hope Cindi and Jasmine will add Three Times the Fun to their kids reading collection!
